Signing in to Chrome allows you to save and access all of your bookmarks and extensions and gives you quick access apps like your Gmail and this Google Classroom.ย
When logged into Chrome with your Staff Google Account (jdoe@yourschool.ca), you can use Sign in with Google to log into most apps and services without creating additional usernames and passwords. It's like having a universal ID card; no need to remember different account credentials for different websites! Try it with our support site, Classmate Compass.

And for those sites that donโt offer Sign in with Google. We highly recommend allowing Chrome to create and save a secure password for you.ย

All that said, we know that you may want to use Chrome for non-work related browsing. You can also access your personal email by adding additional accounts:
Click the user icon in the top right cornerย
Choose Add +
Follow the prompts to sign in with your personal Google Account
Try it yourself โจ Colour code your Chrome profiles: user icon in the top right corner > Customize Profile > Pick a theme!
